Have you ever wondered how people come to know the truth of Jesus Christ? There is only one way to answer this question. The truth of Jesus Christ is a revelation that only comes from God, who unveils it to each individual at their destined time.
I love this passage of scripture below that mentions this: (Peter’s Confession of Christ)
Matthew 16 …
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.
Of course, God uses each of us as part of this process, it is part of our purpose in life. But, that may be a conversation for another time. In this moment, I delight in thankfulness of Him and I ask that you join me in giving God the glory and praise for this revelation and for removing the veil that was once in front of our eyes. And may we humbly pray for those that need the veil to be taken away. Amen.
2 Corinthians 3 …
14 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.
15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.
16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
